Frances M. Kish

Mrs. Frances M. Kish passed away on January 1, 2017, at Wills Memorial Hospital. She was born January 22, 1918, in New Jersey, where she lived and worked (at Johnson & Johnson) before moving to Florida in 1991.She moved to Wilkes County in 1996, where she was able to spend hours daily working in her yard. She especially loved working in her large and much beloved vegetable garden.Mrs. Kish was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kish, a grandson, Gregory Rossell, brothers, John and Theodore Manhire, and by sisters, Catherine Williamson and Helen Borchert. Mrs. Kish is survived by her daughter, Sandra Burton (Lawrence), of Washington; and by her son, Jack Kish (Pamela), of Vero Beach, FL.;a sister and brother-in-law, Lois and Joseph Schmidt, of Milltown, NJ;a sister-in-law, Pricilla Kish, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ;and by a number of nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be in New Brunswick, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wills Memorial Hospital Foundation, 120 Gordon St., Washington, GA30673. Hopkins Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
