Evelyn Jeanette Price

Mrs. Evelyn Jeanette Driggers Price, 58, of Tignall, passed away on Thursday, December 19. 2019, at Augusta University Medical Center. Jeanette was born in Sumter, S.C., and had lived in our community for about 47 years.She was the daughter of Charlie and Odessa Driggers, and was the wife of Virgil “Buddy” Price.She was a housewife/homemaker, and fiercely loved her family and friends.She dearly loved their family reunions, and loved to fish and play rummy.She loved her dogs, especially chihuahuas, which she had all of her life. Jeanette is survived by her husband of 45 years, Virgil “Buddy” Price, of Tignall; three sons, Ray Price (Ashley), Adam Price(Donna), and Charlie Price (Emmi), all of Washington; four brothers, Bruce Driggers, of Washington, Mike Driggers, Washington, David “Drac” Driggers, Washington, and J.C. Driggers, of Jacksonville, Fl.; one sister, Connie D. Goldman, of Washington; and five grandsons, one granddaughter, and one great granddaughter. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 27, 2019, at 7:00pm at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel.The family will receive friends on Friday at the Funeral Home from 6:00pm until the time of the service. The family has requested for those who wish to make a memorial contribution, to make that contribution to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN38105.The St. Jude Children’s Hospital held a special place in Jeanette’s heart.
