Eva Rorie Bufford

Ms. Eva Rorie Bufford, 87, of Washington, entered into rest Tuesday evening at Southern Manor Senior Living. Ms. Bufford was a native of Washington, and was the daughter of Mr. James B. Rorie and Janie Nunn Rorie Karel .She retired from the Georgia Secretary of State Office after 35 years of service. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church in Atlanta, and was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Stephenson and Emily Rorie. She is survived by one son, Tom Webb Bufford, Jr. (Sue), of Washington; and by two grandsons, Rev. Brian Bufford, of Ft. Oglethorpe, and Stephen Bufford, of Washington; Graveside services will be 11:00am Monday, January 3, 2022, at Resthaven Cemetery with her grandson, Father Brian Bufford officiating.
