Ernest Clark

Mr. Ernest Robert ‘Tubby’ Clark, 67, of Tignall died April 7, 2013 at home.He was a native of Asheville, North Carolina and the son of the late, Willis and Mary Frances Deitz Clark.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Everette Clark.Mr. Clark was retired from construction work and a member of Fishing Creek Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 11th at 11:00am in Fishing Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Cates and Rev. Terry Casper officiating. Survivors include four daughters, Rebecca (Danny) Childers, Asheville, NC, Teresa (Greg) Clark, Tignall, Cherrille (Robert) Harrison, Whitesburg, and Deidre (Kevin) Smith, Washington; one son, Thomas (Brenda) Coder, Rembert, SC;one sister, Wilma Hunnicutt, Tignall, ten grandchildren and 1 great grandson. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 – 9pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
