Emma Ware Washington:Mrs. Emma Guin Ware, 93, died Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at the Tignall Assisted Living Home. Mrs. Ware was a native of Wilkes County, and was the daughter of the late Robert Toombs Guin and Delaney Bunch Guin.She was the widow of Robert A. Ware, and was a former medical records clerk in the healthcare field.She was a member of the Avalon Methodist Church in Albany, and was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Ware. Graveside services will be Sunday, February 15, 2009, at 3:00pm at Anthony’s Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ficklen Guin and Rev. Jim Leonardofficiating. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Ware is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Norman, and husband Gary, of Washington, and Patricia Andronica, and husband Leo, of St. Simons Island; one son, Herbert Ware, and wife Helen, of York, SC; one sister-in-law, Martha Bell Guin, of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren, Selena Walker, Greg Norman, Aaron Ware, Jason Ware, Chris, Scott, and David Andronica; and sixteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7-8:30pm at Hopkins Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Anthony’s Chapel Methodist Church.
