Elizabeth F. Reynolds Washington: Miss Elizabeth (Liz) Florrye Reynolds, 103, of Liberty St., passed away at her home on May 30, 2017. Miss Reynolds was born in Siloam on May 22, 1914, and was the daughter of the late Deleon Hamilton Reynolds and Ann McMekin Boswell Reynolds.She graduated from Washington High School, and was the office manager for Pet Milk in Washington until her retirement in 1979. She was very active in the community and the Washington Presbyterian Church, havinf served as an Elder and a Trustee.She was a member of the Washington-Wilkes Historical Society, Friends of the Mary Willis Library, and the Wills Memorial Hospital Auxillary.She was also an honorary member of the Presbyterian Women. Her siblings, Deleon H, Reynolds, Jr., Helen R. Hodgson, Carolyn R. Lamkin, and Josephine R. Bryson preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, James A. Reynolds, of Washington; five nephews, Deleon H. Reynolds III, Washington, Randy Lamkin, Bluffington, SC, Boswell Lamkin, Augusta, James M. Reynolds, Knoxville, TN, Hamilton Reynolds, Atlanta; two nieces, Mackie B. Combs, Appling, and Ann R. Gordon, Raleigh, NC. Her nephew, Turner Bryson, preceded her in death. The family would like to express their deep appreciation and gratitude to Reba Howell for making Liz’s final days as comfortable as possible. A Celebration of Liz’s Life will be held at 3:00pm Friday, June 2, 2017, at the Washington Presbyterian Church with Rev. Glen Kohlhagen officiating.Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the Church for one hour prior to the service (2:00-3:00pm) on Friday.
