Edd Archer

Edd Archer Mr. Edd Archer, 68, of Washington, Ga, died July 18, 2012.A native of Forsyth, Georgia, he was the son of the late Edward Walter and Fannie Margaret Rampley Archer.Mr. Archer was a retired truck driver/ equipment operator in road construction.He served his country in the U. S. Army and was of the Baptist faith. Graveside services will be Saturday at 5:00pm in Mt. Zion UMC Cemetery with Rev. Richard Broome officiating. Survivors include one son, Eric Archer and Tangie Chafin, of Washington; grandchildren, Breanna Archer, La Grange, Hope Archer, LaGrange and Caleb Archer, Washington; great grandchildren, Ashley Archer, Kelley Baker, Landon Cagle and Brantley Cagle; and two brothers, Wayne Archer and Leon Archer, both of Griffin. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 – 4:00pm. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt.
