Dianne Jones

Ms. Dianne Poulnott Jones, 64, of Crawfordville Rd., died Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Dianne was a native of Wilkes County, and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Hazel Arnold Poulnott.She was a member of the Salem Baptist Church in Stephens.She had worked as a caretaker for a number of years.She was loved by all who knew her. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Sunday, November 8, 2015, at Hopkins Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Woods officiating.A visitation will be held from 6-8pm Saturday evening at Hopkins Funeral Home. She was survived by her daughter, Tracie J. Fields, of Stephens; two sons, Stacy Jones, of Wimberley, TX, and Randy Jones, of Rayle; one brother, Ray Poulnott, of Lexington, one sister, Susette P. Fields, of Athens; and soul-mate, Eddie Combs, of Crawfordville; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to your local chapter of American Cancer Society.
