Miss Destiny Anne Long, 21, daughter of Deanne Crawford and Jay Williams of Grovetown, and Mr. and Mrs. Will Long of Washington, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020. Destiny was born in Augusta (August 2, 1998) and had lived in Washington for most of her life.She was a sophomore at the University of Georgia and worked part-time at McDonald’s.She was a delightful young lady and was loved and adored by her family and friends.She was a member of the Washington First United Methodist Church. She is survived by her parents; by her brothers, Tyler Crawford, Robert Reville, and Nicholas Bristow; maternal great grandmother Doris Bishop, Great grandfather, Willie Lee Scruggs, William and Wanda Scruggs, paternal grandfather Wilson Long, paternal grandmother Faye Thornton, maternal step grandmother Rose Bennett, and by her great aunt Barbara Long; and by a number of aunts and uncles; Sherrer Long, Allen Scruggs, Bryan Scruggs, Victoria Hollimon, David Scruggs, Rodney Scruggs, Amanda Hollar, Michelle Shead, Kristina Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Jon Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Chad Thornton, and Mr. and Mrs. Derrick Thorrnton.
