Ms. Deborah Carol Denard Prince, 65, of Bootleggers Lane, passed away early Thursday morning at Harper’s Personal Care Home in Washington.Deborah was born in Atlanta, but had lived in Wilkes County most of her life. She was the daughter of Darden and Louise Denard, and had worked at Clarke-Schwebel for about 20 years during her working career.Deborah dearly loved her Lord, and loved and adored her grandchildren.She was a member of the Tignall Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Robert O’Shields, Jr., and wife Brandy, of Elberton; her parents, Darden and Louise Denard, of Tignall; two sisters, April Dyson, of Washington, and Tammy Price, and husband Danny, of Tignall; two brothers, Dale Denard, of Washington, and Kelly Denard, and wife Marie, of Jacksonville Beach, FL; and by two grandchildren, Robert G. O’Shields III and Brianna O’Shields. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 4, 2020, at the Tignall Baptist Church with Rev. Chris King officiating.Interment will follow at the Tignall Baptist Cemetery.The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30-7:00 pm at Hopkins Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Danny Price, Joe Denard, Jim Rush, Rick Thomas, Bob Simmons and David VanHart. Contributions may be made to the Tignall Baptist Church in her memory.
