Deborah Ann Hubbard Miss Deborah Ann Hubbard, of Crawfordville Rd. in Union Point, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens. Miss Hubbard was born in Washington, GA, and had lived in Union Point for most of her life.She was the daughter of James F. and Delene Thaxton Hubbard.She had worked as a tax preparer for H & R Block, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Union Point.She was preceded in death by her father, James F. Hubbard, and by two brothers, Jimmy Hubbard and Trevor Hubbard. Graveside services will be Friday, May 8, 2015, at 3;00 pm at Carter’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Marc Lhowe officiating. Miss Hubbard is survived by one daughter, Kimberly Taylor Hubbard, and one son, Brandon Hubbard, both of Union Point; her mother, Delene Hubbard, of Union Point; one sister, Sherri Hubbard (Ricky), of Union Point; and two brothers, Kevin Hubbard, of Greensboro, and Brian Hubbard (Paige), of Union Point; and by a number of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends before the service on Friday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
