Cornelia Harris Johnson Cornelia Harris Johnson, 92, of E. Robert Toombs Ave., died Friday, November 20, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Johnson was born in Washington.She was the daughter of Troupe Mercer Harris, Sr. and Martha Jones Harris, and was the widow of William C. Johnson.She received a BS Degree in Home Economics from GSCW in Milledgeville (now GA College), and a Masters Degree in Foods and Nutrition from UGA.She worked as a home administration agent throughout northeast Georgia.She taught at ABAC in Tifton, and taught Home Economics and sponsored FHA at WWCHS from 1970 to 1990.She taught 3rd and 4th grade Sunday School Class at FUMC for 20 years, and was a past president of her Sunday School Class, the Woman’s Club, and of the Pilot Club.She was a member of the Willing Workers Sunday School Class, and was preceded in death by her brother, Troupe Harris, Jr., and by her sister, Blanche H. Dixon. Graveside services will be 2:00pm Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Hall officiating. Mrs. Johnson is survived by one daughter, Belle Guin (Bob), of Washington; and by her two granddaughters, Lindsey Guin and Brittany Guin.
