Clyde Wayne Lance

Mr. Clyde Wayne Lance, 84, of Washington, entered into rest on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at his home.

Mr. Lance was born in Jackson County. He was the son of the late Everett Clyde Lance and Annie Sue Oliver Lance. He was the husband of Marcia Tanner Lance, and they moved to Wilkes County in 1986.  He was a farmer and loved the outdoors, and especially enjoyed cutting his grass.

Mr. Lance is survived by his wife, Marcia Tanner Lance, of Washington; one daughter, Kim L. Sproull, of Ellijay; three granddaughters, Katie Rambler, Kristen Rambler, and Gabrielle Lance; a daughter-in-law, Julia Lance, of Marietta; and was preceded in death by a son, Alan Lance.
