Clark S. Vaughn

Clark S. Vaughn, age 74, of Washington, formerly of Hawkinsville, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 following a period of declining health.

Clark was born in Gary, Indiana to the late James F. Vaughn and Helen Tinnian Vaughn.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Brewer (Roger.)

As someone who loved to work with his hands, Clark spent most of his working life at Boeing where he was a tool and die maker.  That love of tinkering and mechanics carried over into his retirement years, where he enjoyed computer games and remote control cars.

While living in Hawkinsville, the Vaughns attended County Line Baptist Church in Unadilla and Clark enjoyed baiting his hook with his fishing buddy, Ricky.

Clark is survived by his wife of 46 years, Penny Vaughn; daughter, Annie Edwards (Jeremy Guin) of Washington; brother, Chris Vaughn (Richard Kimball) of Chicago; longtime friend, Jim Anderson (Anita) of Holly Ridge, North Carolina; and special friends, Ricky and Paula Spier of Hawkinsville.  Last but certainly not least, he is survived by his four legged canine companions, and special companion, Pearl.

Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Indiana.
