Christine V. Smith

Mrs. Christine Vaughn Smith, 92, formerly of S. Smyrna Church Rd. in Washington, died Sunday, October 18, 2015, in Warner Robins. Mrs. Smith was born in Rayle and was the daughter of the late John C. (Jack) Vaughn and Lucy Nash Vaughn. She was the widow of Mr. John Smith, and had worked at Almar Manufacturing Company for a number of years.She was a member of the County Line Baptist Church. Mrs. Smith is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline S. Bailey (Curtis), of Warner Robins; one grandson, John Curtis Bailey (Jennifer), of Danielsville; one granddaughter, Natalie Bailey Hill (Aaron), of Griffin; and two great grandchildren, Nathan and Naomi. Memorial contributions may be made to the Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, or to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr., Warner Robins, GA 31088. Hopkins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
