Christine Burton

Mrs. Barbara Christine Burton, 84, of Tignall, died January 13th in wills Memorial HOspital.A naitve of Danburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles Eugene and Barbara Lucretia Guin Standard.She was retired from the Textile Industry where she did quality control.She was an active member of Tignall Baptist Church.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers,Arthur Standard and Doug Standard, SR. She is survived by one daughter, Luanne Morris, of Martinez; one grandson, Adam Douglas Morris, Martinez; two brothers, Almond Standard, Tignall and Gene Standard, Augusta and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Monday January 16th at 11a.m.in Tignall Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Standard and Dr. Bob Nash officiating.Interment will follow in the Tignall Baptist Cemetery.Benji Hodges, Dave VanHart, Josh Fincher, Jeremy Pullen, Larry Pullen and Hugh Keener will serve as pallbearers.The body will lie in state from 10 - 11a.m.
