Chris Duane Hughes

Mr. Christopher Duane Hughes, 44, of Washington, died May 29, 2010 at MCG.He was a native of Griffin, Georgia, the son of Duane and Patsy Pierce Hughes.He was an aircraft mechanic and a former member of Kiwanis Club.Mr. Hughes served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1986-1988 and was recalled for Desert Storm in 1991. Survivors include his wife, Mandy Hughes; daughter, Kaylee Whisnant, Washington; parents, Duane and Patsy Hughes, of Griffin; three brothers and one sister. There will be a “Celebration of Life” Saturday, June 19th, from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the Washington-Wilkes Airport.
