Charles Thomas Edwards

Mr. Charles Thomas Edwards, 87, left this world early Monday, July 8, 2019. Charles was born April 20, 1932, in his parents’ home located on Springfield Road, Robinson, Georgia, to Pearl Yearwood and Thomas Franklin Edwards. He is the oldest of four children: Charles, Alice Edwards Kimbrel, Bea Edwards Williams, and the baby was stillborn. He was a member of the Robinson Baptist Church, graduated from ASH.He was retired from the U.S. Air Force, having served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.At the present time, he was retired from his work with the city of Crawfordville. Charles loved the people of Taliaferro County, and made daily visits. He loved and missed the whole Edwards family. Everyone loved Charles on a daily basis, and loved his stories, kindness, and generosity. He is survived by several nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be held Friday morning, July 12,from 9:30until the time of the service at 10:00am at the Crawfordville Baptist Church, 142 Memorial Drive, Crawfordville, Georgia.
