Charles R. Boatwright

Mr. Charles Randall Boatwright, 67, of Rayle, died Thursday, May 10, 2012, at his home. Charles was born in Washington, GA, and had lived in Wilkes County all of his life.He was the son of the late Hoke S. Boatwright and Jennie Echols Boatwright.He was a retired automobile mechanic, and was the husband of Nina Broadway Boatwright.Mr. Boatwright was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon for many years and also taught the Men’s Sunday School Class for a number of years. Pallbearers are Tracy Armour, Cody Boatwright, Ashley Caldwell, Bennie Willis, Freddie Jones, and Jeff Winfrey. Mr. Boatwright is survived by his wife, Nina B. Boatwright, of the home; two sons, Randy Boatwright and Mike (Tina) Boatwright, both of Rayle; one brother, J. W. (Bonnie) Boatwright, of Rayle, and one sister, Katherine B. Jackson, of Mableton; and three grandchildren, Carmen Boatwright Echols, Cody Boatwright, and Levi Boatwright.
