Carrie Norman

Miss Carrie Norman, 89, ofWashington, died August 24, 2010 in Heritage Healthcare of Wilkes. She was a native of Tignall, Georgia, one of seven children of the late E. Ben and Lucy Dickerson Norman.Miss Norman worked in Atlanta for the Greyhound Bus Company for forty two years.She was of the Baptist faith. Graveside services will be Saturday at 11am at Pope’s Chapel UMC Cemetery, with Rev. Albert Huyck officiating.Great nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7-9pm at the funeral home. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Beth Rosser, Anderson, SC, Ben Norman, Tignall, Norma Wright, Sandersville, Jimmy Norman, Tignall and Nanci Faulk, Pensacola, FL; her nurse companion of twenty years, Frances Gilmore; 15 great nieces & nephews, 19 great, great nieces & nephews and 1 great, great, great niece
