Carlton J. Robinson Mr. Carlton Junior Robinson, 66, of Rayle, died Thursday, October 1, 2015, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, GA. Mr. Robinson was born in Rome, GA, and had lived in Wilkes County for 11 years.He was the son of the late Arthur Chester Robinson, Jr. and Doris Elizabeth Pearson.He was retired from the U. S. Navy, and was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Robinson Terry. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Sunday, October 4, 2015, at Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. Jim Newsome officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Rayle. Mr. Robinson is survived by his two daughters, Dorothy R. Locklear (Jerome), of Red Springs, N.C, and Teresa R. Henandez (Oscar), of Washington; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
