Brett Terrell Ray

Brett T. Ray Washington:Mr. Brett Terrell Ray, 57, of W. Sheraton Dr., died Thursday, May 28, 2015. Mr. Ray was born in Atlanta, GA, and had lived in Wilkes County for the last 36 years.He had been a supervisor both at SCT Yarns, Inc., and at Concord, and was the son of Lonnie Ray and Jerri B. Denard.He was a Wilkes Academy graduate, and attended Presbyterian College and the University of Georgia.He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Ray is survived by two daughters, Brittany Ray and Brandy Ray, both of Washington; a granddaughter, Madalyn Ray; his mother, Jerri B. Denard (Odian), of Washington; his father, Lonnie Ray, of Washington; one brother, Shawn Ray, of Washington; his former wife,Joy P. Ray, of Washington; and cousins, Eddie and Carol Effel and family, of Loganville. Memorial services are incomplete and will be announced later by Hopkins Funeral Home.
