Brenda Lee Cartledge

Mrs. Brenda Lee Cawley Cartledge, of Corbin St. in Thomson, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Cartledge was born in Washington, where she lived most of her life.She was the daughter of George and Rosa Mae Wells Cawley, and was the widow of Mack Cartledge. She was preceded in death by husbands Mack Cartledge and Len Lamar, her brother, Melvin Cawley, and by her sister, Sarah Parton. She is survived by two daughters, Mandy McAvoy (Richard), and Melissa Brown, both of Washington; one son, Shane Lamar (Christian), of Washington; one brother, Edward Cawley; and 9 grandchildren:Austin Hiatt, Caleb Hiatt, Chelsea Tamsi, Camille McAvoy, Taylor McAvoy, Weston McAvoy, Carley Lamar, Carson Lamar, and Lena Darracott. Memorial services will be 3:00pm Sunday, December 11, 2016, at the Harvest Time Christian Center with Rev. Terry Casper officiating.The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00pm until the time of the service at Harvest Time.
