Bluford Taylor

Mrs. Bluford Durham Taylor, 89, of Commerce St., died Monday at Greene Point Nursing Home in Union Point. Mrs. Taylor was a native of Taliaferro County, was the widow of Billy Taylor, and was the daughter of John Durham and Bluford Madge Rider Durham.She retired from Royal Manufacturing Company in Washington, and was a member of the CrawfordvilleBaptist Church. Graveside services will be Saturday, November 29, 2008, at 2:00 at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Union Point with Rev. John Autry officiating. Mrs. Taylor is survived by two sisters, Minnie Marchman, of Milledgeville, and Ruth Edwards, of Union Point; two brothers, Alex Durham, of Ashland, VA,, and Graham Durham, of Social Circle; and a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 at Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crawfordville Baptist Church, c/o Sandra Greene, P.O.
