Blanche Dozier Sturdivant

Mrs. Blanche Dozier Sturdivant, 87, of Crawfordville, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020, at Pruitt Health and RehabilitationCenter in Washington. Mrs. Sturdivant was born in Crawfordville, and was the daughter of the late William H. Dozier and Helen Taylor Dozier, and was the wife of the late Jack S. Sturdivant.She was an administrative assistant, having worked for the Department of Defense at Ft. Gordon for a number of years, and was a member of the Crawfordville Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Sherrer S. Herrin (Van), of Veazey, Ga., and Jackie S. Watson (Frank), of Washington; four grandchildren, Jack Herrin (Renna), Brandy H. Richardson (Todd), Jeff Watson, and Jessica W. Bond (Alex); and by nine great grandchildren. Due to the Coronavirus situation, graveside services will be private--family only.
