Bernard Hamilton Anderson

Mr. Bernard Hamilton “Bernie” Anderson, Jr., 57, of Sandtown Rd., died Friday evening at his home. Mr. Anderson was born in Cologne, Germany, and was the son of the late Bernard H .and Louise Turner Anderson.Mr. Anderson worked in construction, including land clearing and grinding. He was a member and present Master of the Danburg Hiram Lodge#51, and was a Shriner.He was a member of the Fishing Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at 2:00 PM at the Fishing Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Cates officiating.Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Thomson. Pallbearers will be David Reville, Dusty Anderson, RobertL. Danner, Darrell Standard, James L. Smith, Greg Rogers, and Bryan Barnett.Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Hiram Masonic Lodge # 51. Mr. Anderson is survived by his two sons, Bernard H. “Trey” Anderson III (Jamie), of Washington, and Scott Anderson (Tiffany), of Watkinsville; one sister, Sara A. Wilson (Sammy), of Edgefield, SC; and three grandchildren, Dusty, Natalie, and Iris Abbott. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hopkins Funeral Home.
