Beeki N. Kuppuswamy

Dr. Beeki N. Kuppuswamy ("Dr. Kupps") of Washington, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016. He was 68 years old. Dr. Kupps was born in Chennai, India, on December 31, 1947.He graduated from Loyola College and Madras Medical College, both in Chennai.In 1972, Dr. Kupps and his wife, Vijji, emigrated from India to Washington, DC, where he completed his medical training at DC General Hospital and the VA Medical Center. In 1979, Dr. Kupps and his family moved to Washington, GA, where he practiced internal medicine and nephrology for 36 years. In addition to his wife, Dr. Kupps is survived by his daughter, Supria; his son, Nara; two sisters and extended family located in India, Australia and throughout the United States. Visitation is scheduled on Monday, June 13, 2016, from 10 am - noon at Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington, GA, and from 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home in Augusta, GA (4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907).A private funeral and cremation will follow.
