Barbara Carroll Axley

Mrs. Barbara Carroll Axley, 78, of the Raytown community, entered into rest on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Axley was born in Alcoa, Tennessee, on March 28, 1943, to John and Alice Suthridge Carroll,She was the wife of Ronny R. Axley, and had lived in the Raytown community for twelve and one-half years. She had been a registered nurse in the healthcare industry, and retired as a nurse supervisor after 30 years of service.She was a member of the Raytown Baptist Church. Mrs. Axley is survived by her husband, Ronny Axley, of Raytown; one son, Jimmy Axley, of Miami, Fla.; one sister, Sandy Long, of Satellite, Fla.; and by two brothers, Johnny Carroll, of Austell, and Scott Carroll, of Kansas City, Kansas. A Memorial service celebrating the life of Mrs. Barbara C. Axley will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, October 30, 2021, at the Raytown Baptist Church.
