Arthur Robinson

Mr. Arthur C. Robinson, Jr., 81, of Rayle, died December 30, 2010 in Wills Memorial Hospital.He was a native of Dallas, Georgia, the son of the late Arthur C. and Annie Mae Pace Robinson.He was a dairy and row crop farmer and the widower of Doris Pearson. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 3, 2011 at 2pm in Sardis Baptist Church with Rev. John Lance officiating.Interment will follow in the church cemetery.James Wideman, Allen Bowen, Trey Palmer, Gene Palmer, Tommy Bowen, Jr., and Roy Bowen will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include one son, Carlton Robinson, Rayle; three brothers, Harlan Story, Cedartown, Virgil Story, Adairsville, and Doyle Story, Rome; four sisters, Nell Maxwell, Perry, Vivian Pearson, Cedartown, Dorothy Pearson, Adairsville and Glenda Pearson, Cedartown; three grandchildren, Dorothy Locklear, Teresa Ann Hernandez and Lisa Terry; nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6-8pm.
