Annie Jo Jackson

Ms. Annie Jo Jackson, 104, of 186 Bootlegger’s Lane, died Saturday morning at Harper’s Personal Care Home in Washington. Ms. Jackson was born in Taliaferro County, was the daughter of Robert E. and Annie Mansfield Meadows, and was the widow of Mr. Frank Jackson. She had been a housewife, had helped her husband Frank with his business at Jackson’s Grocery Store, and then spent her remaining years being a loving mother and grandmother to her family.She was a member of the Washington First Baptist Church. Ms. Jackson is survived by one son, Frank Jackson, Jr., and wife Carol, of Washington; and by a grandson, Frank Jackson III, of Washington, and a granddaughter, Joan Marie Jackson and Jeremy Carey, of Lyndhurst, Virginia. Graveside services will be 4:00pm on Monday, July 2, 2018, at Resthaven Cemetery with Rev. Jim Newsome officiating.The family will be receiving friends the day of the service (Monday) from 2:00-3:00pm at Hopkins Funeral Home.
