Annette Brown Norris

Ms. Annette Brown Norris, 74, of Lexington Rd. In Rayle, entered into rest on Sunday evening, March 12, 2023, at the Echols Personal Care Home in Rayle. Ms. Norris was a native of Wilkes County and had lived here for al of her life. She was the daughter of Joe B. Brown and Dora Bell Smith Brown. She had worked at Standard-Coosa-Thatcher Yarn Corp. for a number of years as a yarn dyer. She was a member of the Washington Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She is survived by three daughters, Sharon V. Rainy , of Minneapolis, Minn., Tana V. Griffeth, of Danielsville, and Troice V. Harvey, of Texarcana, Tx.; two sisters, Linda B. Doss (Kevin), of Commerce, and Elaine B.Hames (Micah), of Gaffney, S.C.; and one brother, Cecil J. Brown, of Campobella, S.C.; seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. A visitation/viewing will be Friday, March 17, 2023, at the Hopkins Funeral Home Chapel from 6-7pm, followed by a speaker on Ms. Norris' behalf from the Washington Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, and by anyone else who might have something they’d like to share.
