Philomath:Mrs. Annette Pittman Nash, 79, of Crawfordville Rd. in Philomath, died Saturday evening, August 7, 2010, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Nash was born in Woodbury, GA, and was the daughter of the late Andrew J. Pittman and Myrtle Gill Pittman.She was a retired educator, having taught 30 years in the Fayette County School System, and was a member of the County Line Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her son, John Marshall Nash and by her granddaughter, Sarah Caitlin Nash. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 11, 2010, at 11:00 am at the Philomath Church.Interment will follow in the Philomath Cemetery.Pallbearers will be Randall Johnson, Skip York, Jay York, Chris York, Jon Morris, and Matt Ondovchik. Mrs. Nash is survived by her husband, Lawrence Nash, of the home; two daughters, Laurie N. (Randall) Johnson, of Fayetteville, and Sharon N. (Skip) York, of Doraville; two brothers, Robert J. Pittman, of Marietta, and Arthur L.(Nancy) Pittman, of St. Simons; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 at Hopkins Funeral Home in Washington.
