Anne Randall Myers passed away peacefully on May 27, 2021 at Island Hospital in Anacortes Washington.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of nearly 52 years, Oliver T. Myers, and her parents, Robert H. Randall and Mildred Pitner Randall.

Anne was born on September 10, 1935 in Washington, Georgia. She spent many of her early years there and in Tenafly, New Jersey. Later on, she spent summers in Belgrade Lakes, Maine, at her family's camp on Great Pond, which she continued to love more than almost anything for her entire life, returning there every summer. After marrying, she and Oliver raised their family in Shorewood, Wisconsin, near Milwaukee.

Anne earned a degree in music, concentrating on theological organ music. Anne was a well accomplished pianist as well as an organist. She taught piano and played as an organist at multiple churches, including Kenwood United Methodist Church in Milwaukee, the Episcopal Church of the Mediator in Washington, Georgia, and the Union Methodist Church in Belgrade Lakes, Maine.

While raising her five children, Anne earned a degree as a registered nurse in Milwaukee and then furthered her studies to receive a masters in oncology. She practiced as a nurse and taught nursing in both Wisconsin and Georgia.

In her later years, Anne loved to travel with her husband Oliver, visiting many locations around the world. She also loved to learn new languages, and became fluent in French and Spanish, which she would speak every chance she got. She also dabbled in German and Chinese.

Anne and Oliver settled in Washington in 1992 to be near Mildred in her later years. This became their beloved home until Oliver’s passing in 2010. They were both very active in their community, and considered their neighbors family.

Soon after Oliver passed, Anne retired from nursing and moved to Bow, Washington, where her daughter Martha resides.
Anne continued her love for music and language after moving to Washington State. She sang in the church choir and played duets with the organist. She volunteered teaching ESL (English as a second language) . She also volunteered with hospice, helping families in tough times.
Anne inspired everyone that she met with her intelligence, sense of humor, strength and fortitude. She will be forever missed by her family. A memorial will be held at 10 am at the Church of the Mediator - 212 E Robert Toombs Ave Washington GA.
