Ann B Gunter

Mrs. Ann Brown Gunter, 75, of W. Sheraton Dr., died Wednesday, April 7, at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Gunter was born in Madison, GA, and had lived in Wilkes County for most of her life.She was the widow of John Newton Gunter, and was the daughter of the late Harold T. Brown and Nellie Conner Brown.She was retired and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 11:00 am at Resthaven Cemetery. Mrs. Gunter is survived by one son, Newton Gunter, and wife Pam, of Washington; one daughter, Dianne G. Wolfe, and husband Lester, of Washington; one brother, Harold Brown, of Leesburg, FL; one grandson, Bryan A. Wolfe(Ashley), and two nieces, Laura and Lynn Brown. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7-9 at Hopkins Funeral Home.
