Ann A. Crittenden

Mrs. Ann Arnold Crittenden, 84, of Swann Rd. in Washington, died Sunday morning, January 15, 2017, at Wills Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Crittenden was born in Wilkes County, and was a retired nursing home administrator.She was the widower of Wiley Crittenden, and was the daughter of the late Louis Arnold and Sarah Sims Arnold.She was a member of the Washington First United Methodist Church, and was a former member of the Sardis Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Claire Giles Crittenden. She is survived by two sons, Miller Crittenden (Jennifer), of Greenville, SC, and Lewis Crittenden (Suzanne), of Powdersville, SC; two daughters, Cay C. Maenza, of Alpharetta, and Nancy C. Heiney (Doug), of Midlothian, VA; one brother, Lou Arnold, of Oak Ridge, TN; and by nine grandchildren. Graveside memorial services will be held at 12:30 Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Rayle with Rev. Jim Newsome officiating.
