Andrew Thurmond Eberhardt, Jr.

Mr. Andrew Thurmond Eberhardt, Jr., 74, of Flowery Branch, entered into rest on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

Mr. Eberhardt was born in Anderson, S.C., and was the son of the late Andrew T. Eberhardt, Sr. and Emma Ritt Dickerson Eberhardt. He had lived in Flowery Branch for twenty years. He had worked in customer service in the grocery industry, and had an associate degree in Political Science. He served in the Air Force during the Vietam War, where he served as an air traffic controller in Greenland during his four years of service.

He is survived by his fiance/special friend, Susan Amason, of Flowery Branch; and one brother, Ken Eberhardt (Leondre), of Milledgeville; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Kaye E. Willis and Jane E. Garrett.

Graveside services will be held at Sardis Baptist Church, 431 Sardis Church Road, Rayle, Georgia, at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 with Rev. Jim Newsome officiating.
