Alvina B. Martin

Ms. Alvina Marie Brown Martin, 90, died Monday, May 28, 2018, at the Comer Health and Rehabilitation Center in Comer. Ms. Martin was born in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, and was the daughter of Alvin J. and Leala Brown.She was the widow of James Martin, and was a homemaker.She was a member of Harvest Time Christian Centerin Washington. Ms. Martin is survived by two sons, Gregg Rainwater (Christine), of Winder, and Larry Rainwater, of Waco, Texas; six Grandchildren, Paul Rainwater, Ben Rainwater, Rev. Charles Wood, Chad Wood, Kim Wood, and Candy Wood.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Wood, and by a grandson, Michael Wood. Funeral services will be 3:30pm Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Harvest Time Christian Center with Rev. Terry Casper and Rev. Charles Wood officiating.Visitation will be at 3:00pm until the time of the service.
