Albert Young

Mr. Albert Young, 90, of Washington, died September 30, 2011 in Wills Memorial Hospital.A native of Washington, Georgia, he was the son of the late Miles and Pearl Carswell Young.Mr. Young was a retired Radio Technician for the State of Georgia Forestry Service.He was a long time ham radio operator with W4PGZ as his call sign. His wife, Evelyn Casteel Young preceded him in death by ten days.He was also preceded in death by his brother Zeno Young. Graveside services will be Monday, October 3, 2011 in Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Steve Rayner officiating. Survivors include nephews and nieces, Randy and Nancy Young, of Washington, Fred and Janet Young, of Virginia, Elizabeth and Richard West, of Edison, Ga., Jan and Tony Ma’luf, of Winston-Salem, N.C., Nida Sherrill, of Cedartown and Celeste and Ernie Taylor of Athens. Memorial contributions may be made to Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
